Understanding fragrance notes can make it easier to select a candle that matches your space, the season, and the atmosphere you want to create.
Top notes: the first impression
Top notes are the scents you may notice first. They are often bright, fresh, or uplifting, such as citrus, mint, pear, or eucalyptus.
These opening notes immediately catch your attention, but they usually make up only one part of the complete fragrance. If you enjoy clean and energizing scents, look for candles featuring lemon, orange, bergamot, or fresh green notes.
Middle notes: the heart of the fragrance
Middle notes appear as the fragrance begins to develop. Often called the heart notes, they bring character and balance to the scent.
Florals, fruits, spices, and herbs are commonly found in this layer. Notes such as jasmine, rose, cinnamon, clove, apple, and lavender can make a fragrance feel comforting, romantic, fresh, or warm.

I absolutely LOVE the Mahogany Teak candle! 🕯️✨ The fragrance has this beautiful cologne-like scent that is sultry, elegant, and sophisticated without being overpowering. I keep it in my bedroom, and it gives the entire room such a warm, luxurious atmosphere.
